Iranian Foreign Ministrys Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned the attack on Sanaa International Airport

Iranian Foreign Ministry's Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned the attack on Sana'a International Airport, describing it as a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, as well as an affront to Yemen's national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman said the attack runs counter to efforts aimed at establishing peace and stability and is inconsistent with the 2022 ceasefire agreement and the subsequent understandings reached to prevent further escalation. He stressed that provocative and dangerous acts such as attacking a civilian airport and endangering the security and safety of a passenger aircraft constitute a flagrant violation of international aviation law and are utterly unacceptable.

Baghaei noted that such reckless actions jeopardize the political process and the ongoing efforts to achieve a peaceful resolution to the Yemen issue.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman also announced the Islamic Republic of Iran's readiness to provide any assistance necessary to advance the political process and implement the roadmap aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability in Yemen.
