Palestinian resistance leaders meet with Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Talal Naji Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP-GC) and Jamil Mezher Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) together with a number of senior officials from the two Palestinian resistance movements met on Saturday afternoon with Seyed Abbas Araghchi Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Talal Naji, Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP-GC), and Jamil Mezher, Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), together with a number of senior officials from the two Palestinian resistance movements, met on Saturday afternoon with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Palestinian representatives, who have traveled to Tehran to attend the farewell ceremony for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, expressed the sympathy and solidarity of the steadfast Palestinian people and resistance groups with the Islamic Republic of Iran. They extended condolences over the martyrdom of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as a number of Iranian officials and citizens, during the U.S.-Zionist imposed war.
Paying tribute to the historic and courageous positions of Iran's martyred Leader in support of the Palestinian cause, they expressed confidence that, in light of the remarkable achievements of Iran's Armed Forces in the field of defense and the successes of Iranian negotiators in the diplomatic arena, as well as the perseverance, resistance, and unity of the Iranian people, the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its path of dignity, independence, and progress with strength and determination.
The leaders of the two Palestinian groups also presented a report on the Zionist regime's brutal crimes in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as the continuation of colonial genocide in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. They stressed the moral, religious, and legal responsibility of all countries, especially Islamic countries, to support the Palestinian people and to hold Zionist criminals accountable and bring them to justice.
For his part, Foreign Minister Araghchi thanked the leaders of the Palestinian resistance groups for attending the ceremony to pay tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution. He stated that the Zionist enemy and the criminal United States believe that by physically assassinating resistance leaders they can uproot this blessed movement, but in reality, the pure blood of the martyrs of the resistance has only led to the disgrace and defeat of the United States and the Zionist regime.
Araghchi stressed that, as Iran's martyred Leader repeatedly emphasized, through the resistance and steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the unity and cohesion of the Palestinian factions, the realization of the goal of liberating Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif is inevitable, and that Iran will spare no effort in supporting the Palestinian people's struggle for liberation.
