Iran strongly condemns Israeli regime’s attack on Beirut’s Dahieh

Esmail Baghaei spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the terrorist attacks by the Israeli regime on residential areas in the southern suburb of Beirut (Dahieh) which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of Lebanese citizens and the destruction of Lebanon’s infrastructure.

Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, strongly condemned the terrorist attacks by the Israeli regime on residential areas in the southern suburb of Beirut (Dahieh), which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of Lebanese citizens and the destruction of Lebanon’s infrastructure.

 

Offering condolences to the families of the martyrs and expressing sympathy with the Lebanese people and government, Baghaei affirmed the solidarity of the Islamic Republic of Iran with Lebanon against the aggressions of the Israeli regime and wished recovery for those injured in the terrorist attack.

 

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson pointed to the ongoing military aggression by the Israeli regime against Lebanon and its repeated use of prohibited weapons, including phosphorus bombs. He described this situation as a direct consequence of the support and complicity of the United States and certain other countries—such as Germany and the United Kingdom—with the regime in its lawlessness and its commission of genocide and war crimes against the peoples of the region. He further emphasized the responsibility of the United Nations Security Council and all governments to prosecute and punish the perpetrators of these crimes.
