Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army

As our beloved nation finds itself in one of the most decisive periods of its history, and as the intelligent and powerful role of the Armed Forces becomes ever more prominent in safeguarding national interests and preserving the country’s stability and security, I sincerely congratulate Your Excellency, as well as all devoted combatants and soldiers of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces, on the occasion of the 29th of Farvardin (April 18) – the Army Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This day is a valuable opportunity to honor the valor, selflessness, and sacrifices of the courageous sons of this land serving in the four branches of the proud Army, who – alongside the rest of the Armed Forces – have spared no effort in protecting the foundation of Islamic Iran.

The security and might of the nation stem from the unwavering will, pure intention, and endurance of brave men who have guarded the borders and protected national interests in the most exemplary manner. Undoubtedly, the present strength of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the international stage and the achievements of the diplomatic apparatus in preserving the country’s interests are indebted to the tireless struggles and sacrifices of the devoted Armed Forces.

My colleagues and I at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs honor the memory of the bravery of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army against aggressor enemies in different eras, especially during the recent decisive battles, and we reaffirm our firm resolve to continue interaction, synergy, and integration with the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Paying tribute to the lofty martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, I beseech the Almighty and Merciful God for the victory and pride of the Iranian nation, the Armed Forces, and the diplomatic apparatus.
