During the meeting, Rahmani Fazli outlined his plans and priorities for advancing bilateral relations between Tehran and Beijing.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, while wishing the incoming ambassador success in his mission, underscored the deep-rooted civilizational ties between Iran and China, the long-standing history of diplomatic engagement, and the abundant potential for cooperation under the framework of the Iran–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. He emphasized the importance of sustained efforts to expand bilateral ties in all dimensions.
Rahmani Fazli has previously held several senior positions, including Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and Minister of Interior in the 11th and 12th Iranian administrations.
