Top Iranian diplomat meets with Japanese deputy FM in Tehran
Hiroyuki Namazu Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan who is visiting Tehran to participate in the 33rd round of political consultations between the Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan met with Irans top diplomat Seyyed Abbas Araghchi this Tuesday morning.
Hiroyuki Namazu, Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, who is visiting Tehran to participate in the 33rd round of political consultations between the Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan, met with Iran's top diplomat, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, this Tuesday morning.
During the meeting, Namazu referred to the long-standing friendly relations between Iran and Japan, and expressed satisfaction with his constructive talks with his Iranian counterpart.
He emphasized the importance of continued consultations to expand bilateral ties and exchange views on regional and international matters.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, for his part, highlighted the history of amicable relations and deep-rooted ties between the peoples of Iran and Japan. Araghchi stressed the need to capitalize on this valuable foundation to further expand bilateral cooperation in all areas, particularly in the economic and commercial spheres.
Araghchi also welcomed the strengthening of consultations with Japan on regional and international issues
