Iranian FM meets with UAE counterpart in Abu Dhabi

Irans Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi who has traveled to Abu Dhabi met on Monday evening with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

 

 

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who has traveled to Abu Dhabi, met on Monday evening with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the meeting, the latest status of bilateral relations in various fields was discussed.

 

Araghchi and Sheikh Abdullah, while reviewing regional developments, underlined the need for increased cooperation and coordination between Tehran and Abu Dhabi to strengthen security and stability in the region.

 

The Iranian foreign minister expressed strong disgust and deep regret over the ongoing genocide and massacre of the Muslim people of Palestine in Gaza and the West Bank as well as the aggression and terrorist actions of the Zionist regime against Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen. He said confronting the expansionism and persistent violations of international law by the occupying regime requires serious attention and action by regional and Muslim nations.

 

The meeting also included discussions on the ongoing indirect talks between Iran and the US with the Iranian foreign minister briefing his Emirati counterpart on the latest developments related to the issue
