Araghchi gave some explanations to his Egyptian counterpart regarding the fourth round of indirect talks with the US in Muscat.

Abdul Ati, for his part, reaffirmed Cairo's support for the nuclear talks and briefed Araghchi on the state of Egypt's efforts and those of other mediators to restore the truce in Gaza.

The two sides underlined the need for an immediate end to the Zionist regime's attacks against the people of Gaza and Israel's acts of aggression and occupation of Lebanon and Syria.
