Irans acting ambassador to Kabul meets foreign minister discusses bilateral ties

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s acting ambassador in Kabul Alireza Bigdeli met with Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Monday and presented a report on the latest status of bilateral relations between Iran and Afghanistan as well as the embassys programs and achievements in this regard.

The Iranian foreign minister emphasized the importance of relations between the two neighboring Muslim countries in various fields.

 

He also stressed the necessity of seriously pursuing mutual agreements, including understandings reached between the two countries regarding cooperation for facilitating the gradual return of Afghan nationals and their participation in Afghanistan's reconstruction
