Iran FM holds phone talk to Myanmars counterpart voices Tehrans readiness to dispatch aid items to quake-hit areas

Following the earthquake in Myanmar, which resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives and widespread material damage in the country, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of Iran, in a phone call with Than Swe, Myanmar's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, expressed the sympathy of the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the survivors of this natural disaster.

Araghchi announced the Islamic Republic of Iran's readiness to send essential and humanitarian aid to Myanmar.

 

The Myanmar Foreign Minister, while thanking and appreciating the Islamic Republic of Iran for its expression of sympathy, provided a report on the situation in the earthquake-affected areas and specified the items needed for the impacted regions
