Iranian FM assistant for the Americas meet with Colombian foreign ministry officials
Issa Kameli Iran’s Assistant Foreign Minister and Director General for the Americas Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who has traveled to Bogotá for consultations with Colombian Foreign Ministry officials met with Nelsy Rodríguez Director General for Asia Oceania and the Middle East and Gloria Juliana Bustamante Reyes Director General for Human Rights at the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Issa Kameli, Iran’s Assistant Foreign Minister and Director General for the Americas Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who has traveled to Bogotá for consultations with Colombian Foreign Ministry officials, met with Nelsy Rodríguez, Director General for Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East, and Gloria Juliana Bustamante Reyes, Director General for Human Rights at the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During these meetings, the parties reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and international developments, emphasizing the need to better utilize the scientific, cultural, and economic capacities of both countries to serve their mutual interests.
They also underscored the importance of enhancing diplomatic exchanges and consultations on various international issues within the framework of strengthening multilateralism and contributing to regional and global peace and security.
