Head of Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Americas Department meets Bolivian FM

The Assistant Minister and Director General of the Americas Department at the Iranian Foreign Ministry Isa Kamali met on Tuesday and held talks with the Foreign Minister of Bolivia Celinda Sosa Lunda during his regional visit to South America as part of the policy to enhance engagement with Latin America.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest status of relations between Iran and Bolivia and emphasized the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.

 

The Iranian diplomat also held intensive talks and discussions with senior officials from Bolivia’s Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Justice, and the Prosecutor General’s Office.

 

He outlined Iran’s positions and discussed cooperation in bilateral and international arenas, including in the field of human rights.

 

Kamali stressed the need to implement the existing agreements between the two countries and pursue more deals in areas of mutual interest.
