Iran, Kuwait FMs meet on sidelines of UN conference in Geneva
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi who has traveled
to Geneva to participate in the Disarmament Conference and the Human Rights Council meeting held talks with his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Ali al-Yahya as
part of his direct consultations with officials participating in the meetings.

During this meeting, the two top diplomats, discussed the state of bilateral ties and held consultations over regional and international developments and also mutual cooperation to counter challenges and concerns at the regional
level.
Referring to the fundamental policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to expand relations with neighboring and regional countries, Araghchi stressed Iran's
readiness to strengthen interactions with Kuwait in all areas of mutual interest.
The Iranian foreign minister spoke about the continuation of the Zionist
regime's crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank. He described the US plans on forcibly displacing the people of Gaza as a
continuation of the occupying regime's genocide.
Araghchi said the upcoming meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's foreign ministers will be an important opportunity for the Muslim world to unite against the colonial conspiracy to erase Palestine.
The Kuwaiti foreign minister also underlined
the importance of bolstering bilateral relations between Kuwait and Iran and said his country is ready to expand ties in all areas of mutual interest.
Abdullah Ali al-Yahya described the plot to forcibly displace the people of Gaza as completely unacceptable. Pointing to the upcoming Arab League meeting
to address this issue, he appreciated Iran's efforts to convene the meeting of the OIC foreign ministers in early March.
