Iranian Ministry Foreign spokesperson attends cultural event at China’s Embassy on occasion of Chinese New Year، ahead of Nowruz
Spokesperson and Head of the Public Diplomacy Center of the Iranian Foreign Ministry attended a cultural event held at the Chinese Embassy in Tehran on Wednesday evening on the occasion of the Chinese New Year.
Esmail Baqaei, Spokesperson and Head of the Public Diplomacy Center of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, attended a cultural event held at the Chinese Embassy in Tehran on Wednesday evening on the occasion of the Chinese New Year.
During the event, which was designed to honor and promote the cultural and civilizational commonalities of Iran and China , pieces of traditional Chinese and Iranian music, from the works of famous Iranian music masters such as Abolhassan Saba, Hossein Alizadeh, and Aliakbar Shahnazi, were performed by Iranian artists.
Before the start of the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador to Tehran, Cong Peiwu, welcomed the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman. He also enumerated the commonalities and deep cultural and civilizational ties between the two great nations of China and Iran and stressed the will of China’s leaders to strengthen and expand relations with Iran in all areas of mutual interest.
Baqaei, in turn, thanked the Chinese ambassador for his efforts to preserve the deep-rooted cultural ties between the two nations. He also described the cultural commonalities of Iran and China as a very valuable platform for maintaining and expanding relations and interactions between Tehran and Beijing. Baqaei said the Iranian Foreign Ministry is ready to cooperate and exchange views with the Chinese side in order to further promote bilateral relations in terms of cultural diplomacy.
