Iran FM Araghchi heads delegation to Cairo for D-8 meeting

Seyed Abbas Araghchi the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran departed for Cairo the capital of Egypt at the head of a delegation to attend the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Developing Eight Organization for Economic Cooperation known as D-8.

The D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers will convene tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18, one day ahead of the organization's summit, to finalize the outcome documents for the summit.

The 11th D-8 Summit will take place on Thursday, December 19, 2024, with the participation of the heads of state from the eight member countries, including Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
