Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei strongly condemned the US and British attacks on Sanaa and Saada in Yemen as a gross violation of the UN Charter and the rules of international law regarding the prohibition of the use of force and the need to respect the territorial integrity of countries.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei strongly condemned the US and British attacks on Sana'a and Saada in Yemen as a gross violation of the UN Charter and the rules of international law regarding the prohibition of the use of force and the need to respect the territorial integrity of countries.

Baghaei described the   American and British air attack on Yemen, along with the continuation of their armed and political support for the Israeli regime’s genocide and massacre of the Palestinian and Lebanese people, as a clear proof of their complicity and involvement in the crimes of the Zionist regime.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman pointed out that such aggressive and reckless actions by the US and Britain against the oppressed and brave people of Yemen are a dangerous participation of these two countries in the escalation of insecurity and tension in the West Asian region and will embolden the Israeli regime to continue genocide and war-mongering.

While praising the honorable support of the Yemeni people for the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon, Baqaei stated that the move of the US and the UK to attack Yemen and destroy the vital infrastructure of this country cannot undermine the solidarity and companionship of the Yemenis with the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon.
