Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York on Friday night local time (US) to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During this visit, the top Iranian diplomat is accompanied by Majid Takht-Ravanchi, the Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, and Kazem Gharibabadi, the Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs.

The 79th summit meeting of the UN General Assembly will officially open on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the UN headquarters in New York.
