Iran FM Araghchi visits injured Beirut ambassador at Tehran hospital

Irans Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi visited Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani at a hospital in Tehran after the diplomat was injured in a terrorist attack by the Zionist regime.

The foreign minister also spoke with Dr. Seyed Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi who is treating Amani.

The Iranian ambassador to Beirut thanked the Foreign Ministry, the Health Ministry, and the Red Crescent of the Islamic Republic of Iran for their swift action in transferring a large number of injured people to hospitals inside Iran.

Amani also briefed the top Iranian diplomat on how the terrorist incident happened and the scale of the attack.

Dr. Ghazizadeh Hashemi for his part outlined the treatment process and gave assurances that Ambassador Amani will soon be able to return to his place of mission.

Also, the president of the hospital and Health Ministry officials who were at the hospital upon the arrival of the wounded spoke to Araghchi and briefed the foreign minister on the other injured people hospitalized at the medical center.
