Austria's envoy to Tehran summoned to Iranian Foreign Ministry

Following a move by Austrias Ministry of Foreign Affairs in summoning the Iranian ambassador Wolfgang Dietrich Heim Austrias ambassador to Tehran was summoned to Irans Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday by the Director-General for Western Europe division of the ministry.

Following a move by Austria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in summoning the Iranian ambassador, Wolfgang Dietrich Heim, Austria's ambassador to Tehran, was summoned to Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday by the Director-General for Western Europe division of the ministry.

During the meeting, the Director-General for the Western Europe Division stated: "Hezbollah is a liberation and anti-occupation resistance movement, and an active and effective actor in Lebanon's political structure, with official representation in both the government and parliament of the country."

The Iranian diplomat further expressed strong objection to the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs action, saying that this questionable move contradicts the realities of the region and the nature of relations between the two countries.
