Iran acting FM follows up on release of Iranian citizen held in France
Iran’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Bagheri held a phone call with Mohammad Amin Nezhad the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Paris to follow up on the latest status of Bashir Biazar an Iranian citizen detained by the French police
Iran’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Bagheri, held a phone call with Mohammad Amin Nezhad, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Paris, to follow up on the latest status of Bashir Biazar, an Iranian citizen detained by the French police.
After hearing the reports of Iran’s ambassador regarding the latest status of this Iranian citizen and also the condition of his family, Bagheri thanked the efforts and follow-ups of the Iranian embassy in Paris.
Subsequently, he provided the necessary recommendations for paying special attention to the rights of Iranian citizens in France.
Bagheri emphasized the importance of the continued comprehensive follow-up by Iran’s embassy with the relevant French government authorities and the provision of the necessary legal and consular support to ensure the swift release of the citizen in question and his return to his family.
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs considered the support of the rights of Iranian citizens abroad to be an inherent and priority duty of the diplomatic apparatus and stated: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will not hesitate to provide consular, legal, and political support to Iranian citizens anywhere in the world who need such support.”
