Iran urges Azerbaijan Armenia to exercise restraint

In response to the border conflict between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia which has resulted in the death and injury of several people the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanaani called on both sides to exercise restraint and maintain peace.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressing concern about the increase in tension and recent conflicts on the border of Azerbaijan and Armenia, called for a peaceful solution to the differences.

Kanaani emphasized that lasting peace in the region can only be achieved through dialogue and diplomacy, adding that it is necessary to speed up the conclusion of a peace agreement between the two countries.
