Iran FM condoles with Hezbollah chief over demise of the movements former deputy Muhammad Yaghi

Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amirabdollahian conveyed a message addressed to the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, extending his condolences on the passing of the esteemed Muhammad Yaghi, the former executive vice president of Hezbollah.

The Foreign Minister's message reads as follows:

 

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

 انا لله و انا الیه راجعون

 

Esteemed brother, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah,

Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah,

 

May peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

 It is with deep sorrow that I received the news of the passing of the esteemed fighter, the late Haj Muhammad Yaghi, the former Executive Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah and a former member of the Lebanese Parliament.

 We hold dear the memory of that valiant brother, who belonged to the first generation of resistance leaders. He was a companion and ally of the late martyr Seyyed Abbas Mousavi, may Allah be pleased with him, the former Secretary General of Hezbollah. He was a compassionate individual, devoted to serving the resilient people of Lebanon and a diligent supporter and helper of the oppressed.

Alongside extending our condolences to Your Excellency and all the bereaved families, as well as to all their comrades and friends in the Islamic resistance of Lebanon, I implore the Most Compassionate and Merciful God to bestow extensive mercy and forgiveness upon that departed valiant fighter, granting him elevated ranks and the reward of martyrdom in the path of God.
