Kanaani: Tehran conference on Palestine seeking support for Palestinians
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani has in comments on ‘The International Tehran Conference on Palestine’ scheduled to be held today said “This conference is being held with the aim of boosting international support for the oppressed Palestinian nation in Gaza and the West Bank increasing pressure on the Zionist regime to completely stop its military strikes against Gaza and fully lift its siege on the enclave and also giving fresh impetus to the dispatch of international humanitarian aid to Palestinian people.”
This day-long international meeting brings together senior state officials as well as prominent political, religious, intellectual and media figures from more than 50 countries,” he added.
He said the conference is being held in line with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s diplomatic efforts to support the resistance put up by the oppressed people of Palestine and brave Gaza, adding, “An immediate end to the apartheid Zionist regime’s war crimes and genocide against the oppressed Palestinian nation are the demands of all those seeking their rights and justice and all conscientious humans across the globe.
