Iran FM thanks AU official stance towards Gaza

In a letter to Head of the African Union Commission Musa Faki Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian thanked him for his condemnation of the bombing of al-Maamadani Hospital in Gaza by the Zionist regime as well as his demand for the cessation of attacks against the territory and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the oppressed people of Palestine.

 

In a letter to Head of the African Union Commission Musa Faki, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian thanked him for his condemnation of the bombing of al-Maamadani Hospital in Gaza by the Zionist regime as well as his demand for the cessation of attacks against the territory and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the oppressed people of Palestine. 

 

Amirabdollahian appreciated the African Union Commission chief’s support for Palestine and called for more effective steps in this regard.

 

In the letter, Amirabdollahian further underlined the responsibility of international bodies to prevent war crimes by the Zionist regime.

 

He urged the head of the African Union Commission to take more substantial measures to permanently end the attacks by the occupying regime on Gaza, to completely lift the siege of the territory and to end the Israeli occupation.
