Ayatollah Raisi in a meeting with followers of monotheistic religions:

Islamic Revolution, its achievements belong to all people of Iran, all ethnicities, religions

Stating that our honourable Imam Khomeini raised a flag called the administration of justice 44 years ago in order to build a society that would cultivate justice-seeking people who would be the first implementers of justice, the President said, "Iran's Islamic revolution seeks to build a society where people believe in God and are free from oppression".

On Monday evening, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi attended a meeting with the followers of monotheistic religions held on the occasion of commemorating the 44th anniversary of the victory of the glorious Islamic Revolution, and stated that the days of Fajr Celebration are a reminder for all of us of the great victories of the Iranian nation".

The President stated that the successes and great achievements made by the Iranian nation in various fields after the victory of the Islamic Revolution also belong to the great nation of Iran, and added, "The Sacred Defence is one of the beautiful and glorious manifestations of the Iranian nation's steadfastness and vision, which all Iranian tribes and religions have played a role in by presenting martyrs and have a share in this honour".

Emphasising that today more than ever, we need national unity and cohesion, Dr Raisi said, "Cohesion and unity is the most important and most suitable platform for development in the country. Of course, unity and cohesion does not mean the negation of dialogue, but it is a platform for the gathering of thinkers and the exchange of their views and opinions with each other in line with the approximation of views".

The President clarified, "Today, the enemies of the Islamic Revolution seek to create hopelessness and despair in the society to stop the Iranian nation from moving forward, producing, trying to promote science and technology, creativity, studying science and business".

Ayatollah Raisi pointed out that the enemies do not want the Iranian nation to move towards progress and a bright future under the banner of unity and national unity, and pointed out, "It is clear to all of us that Abrahamic religions are against disbelief and atheism and the focus of all of them is worship of God, calling for morality and abandoning arrogance, mischief, cruelty and corruption".

The President added, "The common point of all Abrahamic religions is to pay attention to God, pay attention to oneself and self-improvement, and take care of others. All Abrahamic religions condemn self-conceit and arrogance and condemn oppression and corruption".

Ayatollah Raisi stated, "Today, in the eyes of the Global Arrogance, a morally ugly phenomenon that causes the end of the human race is introduced as an indicator of civilisation, and Western governments introduce a civilised society that that homosexuality is prevalent; This is in conflict with all the teachings of Abrahamic religions and causes the human race to be cut off".

Stating that in Imam Khomeini's school of politics, politics is tied to spirituality, the President clarified, "Politics without God has brought great calamities to humanity, such as seventy years of oppression of the Palestinian people, the production of nuclear warheads, and the oppression and conquests that the human society is suffering today".

Dr Raisi added, "Human society should know that leaving God out of political equations will not bring prosperity, but oppression and loss of human rights to human society".

Dr Raisi stated, "What is necessary for our society today is to have a review of what should have been done and what has been done, and try to eliminate the weaknesses and deficiencies and increase the strengths to form a strong Iran".

Stating that today we have clear indicators and symbols of the progress of Islamic Iran, which have angered the enemy, the President clarified, "The enemy sees that whatever it plans, it will backfire. This is not our words, but the admission of the enemy and the American officials that their maximum pressure on the Islamic Republic has failed shamefully".

The President stated that the Iranian nation can achieve independence in various fields by relying on its various capacities and talents, and said, "Islamic Iran can reach the heights of greatness by using the many talents it has".

Dr Raisi added, "There are many material and spiritual resources in this country, which should be tried to be actualised by good management of these capacities and powers".

In another part of his speech, the President pointed out that all divine prophets have acknowledged each other, and called insulting the great Prophet of Islam (PBUH) an insult to all prophets and divine and monotheistic religions and added, "The fact that someone allows himself under a government to insult the divine prophet of nearly 2 billion Muslims in the world, it is not called freedom, but it is an insult to all believers on earth and restricts the freedom of speech".

Ayatollah Raisi continued, "It is based on such a progressive and valuable view that when we hear that people have been affected by natural disasters and earthquakes on the border of Turkey and Syria, it is as if we have also suffered from this accident and problem and we cannot be without concern and we feel responsible for them".

The President stated that this view of Imam Khomeini (RA) cultivates a human being socially, and added, "If the martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani did not suffer from the suffering of others, why should he be martyred in Iraq? He went to save the people of Iraq and the whole region from the takfiri terrorism that had nothing to do with religion but committed crimes in the name of religion".

In the end, Dr Raisi asked the Almighty God for patience for the earthquake-stricken people of Khoy, Turkey and Syria and said, "We hope that the Almighty God will allow us to recognise our duties towards the people and act on them, and feel responsible for the relief of others' suffering and the progress of the country".
