Iranian Foreign Ministry’s economic delegation meets with the head and members of Guinea’s chamber of commerce

During his visit to Guinea, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari met with Head of Guinea’s Chamber of Commerce Mamadou Baldé and some economic activists and businesspeople of the country.

During his visit to Guinea, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari met with Head of Guinea’s Chamber of Commerce Mamadou Baldé and some economic activists and businesspeople of the country.

Mamadou Baldé said Guinea is trying to make the best use of the presence of the Iranian deputy foreign minister for economic diplomacy in Guinea in order to give momentum to bilateral ties and also strengthen the relations.

He stressed that his participation in the meeting was aimed at showing Guinea’s practical determination to expand ties. “We are also aware of Iran’s progress in different fields and want to elevate bilateral ties to the desired level", Mamadou Baldé noted.  

Safari referred to the importance of the meeting and the high capacity of the private sectors of the two countries to boost bilateral relations, saying there are many areas in which Iran and Guinea can cooperate. He said the Iranian products exported to Guinea can be used both in the country and other markets in West Africa.

In the meeting, some Guinean businesspeople appreciated the opportunity to attend the meeting with the Iranian deputy foreign minister for economic diplomacy. They also spoke about their fields of activities, saying they were interested in having trade ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
