Iran’s deputy foreign minister for economic diplomacy meets with Venezuela’s transportation minister
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mahdi Safari held a meeting with Venezuela’s transportation minister and the chair of the Iran-Venezuela Joint Economic Commission. During the meeting, Safari underlined that there is no limitation when it comes to expansion of ties with Venezuela, as a friendly country.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mahdi Safari held a meeting with Venezuela’s transportation minister and the chair of the Iran-Venezuela Joint Economic Commission. During the meeting, Safari underlined that there is no limitation when it comes to expansion of ties with Venezuela, as a friendly country.
He also underlined the need for enhanced cooperation across all areas.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged viewpoints on strengthening of the bartering model to increase mutual trade ties, setting a target of 10 billion dollars for the volume of ties between the two countries, sending Venezuelan university students and experts for training courses in Iran, the need for increased exports of high-tech services to Venezuela and also the need to hold the joint economic commission of the two countries as soon as possible.
