Iranian FM arrives in India

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amirabdollahian, arrived in New Delhi early Wednesday to hold strategic consultations with high-ranking Indian officials.

He was welcomed by officials from the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the trip, which takes place at the invitation of Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, the Iranian foreign minister will hold high-level talks with Indian officials in New Delhi.
The trip will also take him the cities of Mumbai and Hyderabad.
During his stay in India, Amirabdollahian will hold talks with state and local officials, religious scholars, and Iranian businesspeople residing in India.
