Araghchi: Iran seeks regional security arrangements without foreign military presence
.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said in a post on X that he had stressed during an interview with Al Jazeera that Iran harbors no hostility toward Persian Gulf Cooperation Council member states, appreciates Qatar and Oman’s positive role, and continues its dialogue with Saudi Arabia. He added that Iran seeks new regional security arrangements shaped by the countries of the region themselves, without the presence of foreign military forces.
