Martyr Khazraei devoted his life to serving this country and ultimately attained the exalted status of martyrdom, which he deserved. His defining characteristic was revolutionary rationality. We all knew Dr. Khazraei as a man deeply committed to thought, reflection, consultation, dialogue, and diplomacy. He possessed a revolutionary spirit and sincerely believed in and remained committed to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution. • Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Document Center will be inaugurated in the name of Martyr Khazraei. Just as we renovated the Foreign Ministry’s library, we will rebuild Iran as well. • We still believe that our region must enjoy peace and stability that are endogenous, secured by the countries of the region themselves without foreign interference. The wars of the past year and a half, particularly the Ramadan War, mark a turning point, and nothing will be the same as it was before this war. • US bases in our region have brought peace and security to no one. They have not brought peace and security to the countries hosting them; on the contrary, these bases have been the very source of insecurity for those countries. As a matter of principle, we welcome any move that enables countries in the region to rely on themselves. • The role of the Zionist regime has been demonstrated to everyone. It is the sole warmongering factor in the region that has never allowed security and stability to take hold and has consistently sought to foment war and weaken regional countries. • Our region must move toward eliminating the presence of foreign forces altogether in order to achieve its own peace and stability. These forces came to the region to protect Israel and ensure its security. Their continued presence will bring nothing but insecurity to the entire region. It has been demonstrated in practice that these forces are incapable of protecting Israel, their host countries, or even themselves. • All issues in the region are interconnected. We cannot have war and conflict in one part of the region while expecting peace in another. In all the negotiations we held with the US side through Pakistan, Qatar, and others, we emphasized that the war must end on all fronts; otherwise, we will not see stability in the region. • The Strait of Hormuz remained open for decades, and neither Iran nor Oman, the two coastal states bordering the strait, imposed any restrictions on maritime traffic. Instead, they ensured security and safety and protected the marine environment. The Strait of Hormuz will not be managed as it was before. • These days, there is talk of another war. Whether war breaks out or not, our policies will remain unchanged. If rationality prevails, they will not repeat their military aggression against the Iranian people. • We and the countries of the region must live in peace in this region without foreign interference. This is the only path to peace, security, and stability in our region. • This has been and remains our policy. Our relations with all these countries in the Persian Gulf region remain in place, and we are working to reach a common understanding on a new regional security architecture. This is the only way to establish peace and stability in our region.
