Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan held a telephone conversation on Sunday night to discuss and exchange views on ongoing developments in the region. Expressing concern over escalating tensions, the Iranian foreign minister stressed that insisting on a military approach and disregarding a political solution would further complicate the existing situation. Araghchi also emphasized that the ongoing crises in the region have no military solution, stressing that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide any assistance to help initiate dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen and facilitate the achievement of a political solution.
