Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Brunei Foreign Minister Prince Abdul Mateen met on Thursday afternoon on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and international developments, particularly issues concerning the Muslim world, including Palestine and the genocide of Palestinians.Araghchi stressed the need for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to pay greater attention to the issue of Palestine. Referring to the intensification of the occupying regime’s crimes against Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, Al-Quds and other parts of the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as the regime’s continued aggression against Lebanon and other Muslim countries, he underscored the need for urgent action to counter the Zionist regime’s colonial domination.The two sides also held consultations on Iran-Brunei bilateral relations.
