Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who is in New York to attend the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, met with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski on Thursday morning.Araghchi outlined Iran’s positions on developments in West Asia, saying that the insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz stems from US acts of aggression. He stressed the importance of all countries, including European states, adopting a principled position in condemning the military aggression against Iran as well as the crimes committed during it.The Iranian foreign minister also expressed concern over the continuation of the Ukraine conflict, describing as highly dangerous attempts by some parties to shift blame and link the conflict to developments in West Asia. He stressed the importance of European countries dealing responsibly with issues concerning their continent.The two sides also discussed and exchanged views on Iran-Poland bilateral relations.
