Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei has urged Americans to question why student-loan and credit-card debt relief would be offered as an incentive to recruit young Americans to fight and die in a war against Iran that Israel seeks to prolong and expand. In a post on X Baghaei warned Americans against allowing their children to become “infantry” in a war they never chose and taxpayers to bear its costs.
