Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei, speaking to reporters regarding the next phase of negotiations for drafting a final agreement, stated: "Necessary consultations are underway through mediators for this purpose, and once the conditions for commencing negotiations are met, an announcement will be made." Baghaei reminded that, according to the text of the Memorandum of Understanding, the initiation of final agreement negotiations is contingent upon the commencement and continued implementation of the provisions set forth in paragraphs 1, 4, 5, 10, and 11 of the Memorandum. In response to a question about the Switzerland meeting that had previously been slated for Friday, the Foreign Ministry Spokesman explained: "One of the primary objectives of the Friday meeting in Switzerland was to sign the text of the Memorandum on the Cessation of Aggressive War, and it was planned to exchange views on the sidelines of the signing ceremony regarding arrangements for final agreement negotiations. Given that the Memorandum of Understanding was digitally signed in the early hours of June 18, there is no urgency to hold the said meeting in Switzerland; however, we are currently planning to hold a meeting in the coming days."
