Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral relations as well as regional and  international developments.   During their talks, the two sides exchanged views on various aspects of Iran–Oman bilateral relations.   Araghchi voiced concern over developments in southern Yemen, stressing the necessity of efforts and cooperation among regional countries to preserve the country’s territorial integrity and to consolidate its stability.   The two top diplomats also reviewed developments in West Asia, the Mediterranean, and the Horn of Africa. Araghchi and Al Busaidi underlined the importance of continued consultations and coordination among Islamic countries to counter the factors of division and unrest in the region.
