FM Araghchi Saudi counterpart hold phone talks
Seyed Abbas Araghchi Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a telephone conversation this Sunday evening during which they discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, held a telephone conversation this Sunday evening during which they discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.   During the call, matters pertaining to Iran–Saudi Arabia bilateral relations were discussed.   Referring to developments in southern Yemen, Araghchi underscored the necessity of preserving Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity and emphasized the need for the implementation of the roadmap.   He also condemned the aggressions of the Zionist regime against Lebanon and stressed the responsibility of the international community—particularly the guarantors of the ceasefire—to halt the regime’s acts of aggression and crimes against the Lebanese people.   For his part, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister underscored the importance of continued consultation and cooperation among regional countries to safeguard peace and stability. He emphasized the necessity of holding the Zionist regime accountable.
