Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, held a telephone conversation this Thursday evening, during which they discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.   In this exchange, Araghchi, referring to Iran’s diplomatic initiatives and consultations with regional states aimed at strengthening regional peace and stability, emphasized the importance of maintaining this process with the participation of all relevant parties.   Lavrov likewise described the formation of frameworks for regional consultation and cooperation as an appropriate method for resolving issues among the countries of the region. He expressed Moscow’s readiness to continue close coordination with Tehran in this regard.
