Esmail Baqaei, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condemned the recent unlawful entry of the prime minister and several other leaders of the occupying Zionist regime into Syrian territory. He warned of the consequences of the regime’s continued warmongering and hegemonic ambitions for regional peace and security.   The Spokesperson described this criminal incursion—which comes in continuation of the regime’s repeated aerial and ground aggressions against Syria and its occupation of significant parts of the country’s south—as a provocative act aimed at consolidating and expanding the scope of its occupation in southern Syria.   He further emphasized the responsibility of the international community and the United Nations Security Council to compel the occupying regime to withdraw from all occupied areas in the Golan region and southern Syria.
