Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a telephone conversation today with Bakary Yaou Sangaré, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Niger, during which the two sides discussed and exchanged views on bilateral relations.
Referring to Iran’s determination to strengthen relations with African countries, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation as well as coordination in international fora.
Araghchi also extended an invitation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Niger to visit Iran.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Niger, noting the excellent and friendly relations between the two countries, welcomed the invitation and expressed Niger’s readiness to expand bilateral ties in fields of mutual interests.
