The head of Poland’s diplomatic mission in Tehran, Marcin Wilczek, was summoned to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Assistant Minister and Director General for the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe, Mahmoud Heidari, in reaction to the Polish foreign minister’s collaboration with an American-Zionist group to stage an anti-Iranian show in the UK Parliament and to make false claims regarding the use of Iranian drones in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
During the meeting, the director general firmly rejected the interventionist remarks and baseless allegations made by the Polish foreign minister, expressed regret over repeating stereotypical claims, and conveyed the strong protest of Iran’s Foreign Ministry to the Polish side.
The Polish envoy, emphasizing Poland’s interest in maintaining proper relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated that he would urgently relay Iran’s objections and views to the Polish Foreign Ministry.
