Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei has strongly condemned Friday’s attacks by the Zionist regime on residential areas in Beirut, which coincided with International Quds Day and the global outcry against the occupation and genocide in occupied Palestine.   Baqaei said the attacks are a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon.   Baqaei deplored the murderous act of the Zionist regime as a gross breach of the Lebanese sovereignty and territorial integrity. He reminded the UN and other guarantors of the truce agreement of their responsibility and demanded an immediate and effective action by the international community to stop the repeated violations of the ceasefire.   The Foreign Ministry spokesman added that the excuses made by the Zionist regime to justify the aggression against Lebanon are completely unfounded and baseless, and the international community must take decisive measures to confront the occupying regime's continuous violations of international law in the region from Gaza to Lebanon and Syria and also the regime's increasing threats against global peace and security
