Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan met with Iran's Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi to emphasize the special importance Armenia places on developing and deepening relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.   Kostanyan expressed his gratitude for the Islamic Republic of Iran's stance on regional developments and highlighted Armenia's desire to establish peace and security in the South Caucasus.   He also reaffirmed Armenia's foreign policy of maintaining good neighborly relations and expanding comprehensive ties with Iran.   During the meeting, the Iranian foreign minister pointed out the very good relations and extensive cooperation between Iran and Armenia in various fields.   Araghchi emphasized the current Iranian administration’s determination to further develop and deepen bilateral ties with Armenia, considering them beneficial for both nations and essential for sustainable peace and stability in the South Caucasus.   He also declared the Islamic Republic of Iran's readiness to assist in achieving peace and maintaining stability and security in the region.
