Sergei Lukashevich, the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus met this Tuesday afternoon with Iranian Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi. Sergei Lukashevich is visiting Tehran for political consultations with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran on bilateral relations and regional developments. During the meeting, Lukashevich highlighted the friendly relations between Iran and Belarus. He emphasized the importance of continuing bilateral consultations to enhance relations between the two countries and contribute to the resolution of regional and international issues. Iran’s Foreign Minister, in turn, underscored the necessity of political consultations between Iran and Belarus on bilateral relations and regional as well as international matters. Araghchi also emphasized the importance of bilateral and multilateral efforts to strengthen international stability and security.
