As he continued his meetings on the sidelines of the Doha talks, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. During the meeting, Araghchi and Al Thani exchanged views on the latest regional developments, with a focus on the situation in Syria. The Iranian foreign minister referred to the talks held at the meeting of foreign ministers of the guarantor countries of the Astana Process, and emphasized the need for regional countries to consult and collaborate with each other to politically resolve the crisis in Syria. Both ministers highlighted the importance of utilizing the opportunity provided by the Doha talks to continue bilateral and multilateral consultations in this regard, aiming to help stabilize and secure the region.
