Iranian, Tunisian FMs talk bilateral ties, Zionist crimes
Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with his Tunisian counterpart Nabil Ammar on the sidelines of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Forum in Portugal. The two ministers discussed expanding bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, met with his Tunisian counterpart, Nabil Ammar, on the sidelines of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Forum in Portugal. The two ministers discussed expanding bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments. Araghchi highlighted Iran’s principled approach of fostering engagement and cooperation with neighboring and Islamic countries. He emphasized the importance of strengthening cohesion among member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to enhance collaboration and unity among Muslim nations. The Iranian foreign minister addressed the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people and the expansion of the Zionist regime aggression into Lebanon and other regional countries. He stressed the urgent need for Islamic countries to take immediate action to pressure the regime’s supporters to cease their backing and put an end to its aggressions against Lebanon. The two sides also reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and explored avenues to further enhance cooperation and interaction between Iran and Tunisia.
