The Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia discussed the expansion of bilateral relations and topics of mutual interest during a telephone conversation. Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi expressed satisfaction with the positive relations between the two countries and emphasized Tehran’s readiness to deepen and further expand relations in all areas of mutual interest. Armenia’s top diplomat Ararat Mirzoyan highlighted the longstanding friendship between the two countries. He underscored the importance of continued consultations between Tehran and Yerevan on regional developments. Mirzoyan also extended an invitation to his Iranian counterpart to visit Armenia. Both parties agreed to maintain ongoing consultations to enhance bilateral relations and coordinate on regional issues.
