Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Turkmen counterpart Reshid Meredow have discussed the latest state of bilateral cooperation and also some regional issues.
In their conversation, the foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Turkmenistan stressed the two countries' determination to expand relations comprehensively in various political, economic, scientific, and cultural fields.
They also explored ways of expanding economic and commercial relations and of continuing cooperation between the two countries in regional and international organizations.
Araghchi described the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan as growing and on the right track.
Turkmenistan’s foreign minister also called the recent visits of high-ranking officials of both countries a symbol of high-level interactions between Iran and Turkmenistan. Meredow called for the expansion of relations with Iran.
