Kanaani dismissed the attacks as a repeated violation of Yemen’s territorial integrity and a gross breach of international law by the United States and Britain, adding, “The perpetuation of such arbitrary moves would amount to blatant adventurism and a worrying threat to international peace and security.”
“The United States and Britain’s military adventurism marked by their military strikes on the regional countries is a follow-on to these two countries’ wrong approach and policy of resorting to militarism to advance their illegitimate objectives in the region and is in stark contrast to Washington and London repeatedly claiming that they wouldn’t like to see war and conflict spread in the region,” said the spokesman.
“Pressing ahead with their all-out support for the Zionist regime’s war crimes, the United States and Britain are, with their military actions across the region, stoking chaos, disorder, insecurity and instability aimed at creating some breathing space for the criminal Zionist regime which stands accused of committing genocide against Palestinians,” he said.
“Undoubtedly, the international community has a responsibility to hold the United States and Britain accountable,” Kanaani noted.
