Mohammad Abdul Salam, spokesman and chief negotiator of Yemen's national salvation government on Monday met with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian during a visit to Tehran.
In the meeting, Amirabdollahian reaffirmed Iran's support for peace in Yemen. He also expressed satisfaction with the progress in talks between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, noting that the Islamic Republic of Iran will always support the will of the Yemeni people.
The top Iranian diplomat further thanked Ansarullah movement of Yemen for throwing its weight behind the oppressed Palestinian people.
The chief negotiator of Yemen's national salvation government for his part praised the Islamic Republic of Iran's constant political support for the resistance front.
Abdul Salam also briefed Amirabdollahian on the latest peace developments in Yemen.
